Dinner, London

Dalla Terra, Covent Garden

Rushing off to the theatre, we were looking for a quick bite to eat in Covent Garden. Not the easiest of missions on a busy Sunday night. We stumbled on Dalla Terra by chance, it’s tucked away just off Long Acre. The atmosphere was buzzy and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We loved it!

We needed to be out quite quickly and settled on a carafe of wine and an antipasti plank. The fine Italian meats and cheeses, sourced at Borough Market, were scrumptious. Our only grumble was when the bill arrived. The sharing plank came in at £25 – £12.50 per person. One of the perils of London can be the high prices, and we thought that this was a case in point. It’s a shame because more reasonable pricing would have seen us returning quick spot.
